Flourite Red" is a specially fracted, stable porous clay gravel for the natural planted aquarium. Its appearance is best suited to planted aquaria, but may be used in any aquarium environment. Flourite Red" is most effective when used alone as an integral substrate bed, but it may be mixed with other gravels. Gravel modifiers such as laterite are not necessary and unlike competing products, Flourite Red" never has to be replaced. It remains effective for the life of the aquarium. Flourite Red" is not chemically coated or treated and will not alter the pH of the water.
Although pre-washed, it may be rinsed before use to remove residual dust. Dust can also be minimized by filling aquarium slowly and dispersing water so that the Flourite Red" bed is not disturbed. Slight initial cloudiness is normal and will clear rapidly (2—12 hours). To shorten the cloudiness period use Clarity" in conjuction with mechanical filtration (such as filter floss).

Shipping Info
We ship UPS orders within 24 hours of cleared payment (Monday - Friday). USPS orders ship within 48 hours of cleared payment. To view shipping cost click on the Shipping & Payments tab and enter the quantity you are interested in. We ship out of our warehouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. All items listed on auction are physically in stock. We do have rare cases where inventory can be misplaced/lost in the warehouse, in these rare cases, we will contact you ASAP and offer your choice of a refund, alternative product, and/or ETA if you wanted to wait for the item.
International Buyers are responsible for any taxes, duties, customs fees or additional charges incurred during shipping
We ship USPS and UPS. We cannot ship gift or sample marked international packages or list a reduced value on the customs invoice.
