1. I bought this as part of my Emergency Preparedness supplies. This handy item will supply power in a multitude of ways in addition to some other useful things it can do such as it has a compass, a flashlight that will strobe steady or in a Morse code “SOS” pattern, and a tip on one end that will break a windshield in case of entrapment. It can start your car or power your cell phone or any other USB device. It has some weight to it but for experienced hikers or campers its usefulness far outweighs the trouble (pun intended!) All in all, this is a must have for hiking or camping and definitely in your emergency kit.
2. I received Jstar4 last week and arrived within a few days. I had a Honda Accord in my garage with a dead battery. I decided to test the Jstar4 to see if it claims to be. I used the Jstar4 jumper clamp to see if the car battery has any power left, it doesn’t even light up. I charged up the Jstar4 the night before which charged up very quickly from 79% when I receive the unit. At 100% charged I connected the unit to the car battery and within 30 sec I was able to start my Honda . I was very impressed that this unit was able to jump start the dead battery and still have a full charge. I had to try to jumpstart it for few times.Since the car hasn’t been started for couple of days this was kind of expected this might happen. After 5 jump starts the Jstar4 still had 89% charged not bad at all. I also tested the wireless charger it works pretty well. The only complaint I have is that the jumper cable is a little short and this is why I gave it 4 stars.
3. This is awesome! I did not believe how it can start a big SUV. But a friend of mine swore by it so i bought as i was having trouble with my 3.5L SUV. I fully charged it and then I made the connections to the dead battery and turned the key and it started the car right away without any hesitance. The battery indicator did not even go lower from 100%. I used it 3 times without any charge and it is still full strength. A great peace of mind device. I am buying for each of my car.
